I got the 1lb of barbacoa and 1 dz pork tamales, and both had very good flavor. The only thing that stopped it from getting 5 stars was the tamales. They were a little on the dry side. The meat to masa was a good ratio. Definitely would eat again. Atmosphere was good, the downfall was the AC being out and standing in line at 90°F on the thermostat was not comfortable. The place was clean just needs some TLC in the beautification department.
One of the Best flavorful Barbacoa in San Antonio!! If you've never tired it here it's definitely a must!!! The Customer service is Awesome, very friendly and helpful. I always look forward to my Weekends knowing that I'm GOING TO RIOS BARBACOA FOR REALLY GOOD FOOD AND THE BEST BIG RED IN TOWN! I promise that YOU will Enjoy ! Go Early to BEAT THE LINE.

The Barbacoa here is really good. The tamales were a little bit dry but still had good flavor. I really enjoy their salsa flavors. The employees there were very friendly and readily help out their customers. The only drawback is that the food is a little bit more expensive than I'd like, but it is still worth it.
