Fantastic restaurant with some unique dishes and great cocktails. Really enjoyed the quail and the beef tacos. The margaritas were fantastic as well and i would recommend this restaurant in the area.
We had a group of 9 for a late breakfast reservation on a Friday morning before our work conference began. We were seated promptly, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Most of the group ordered the breakfast buffet which was well worth the price. I had the brisket hash and it was excellent.
I was surprised by the $125 price tag for the buffet. My one slice of prime rib, a serving of mashed potatoes, a couple shrimp a taster (pinkysize) of duck which btw was wonderful , and a truly sublime shot was all very tasty. But I'm not sure it was worth $125. My husband had even less. It was NYE buffet, and I didnt ask price in advance so thats on me. Good food, great service, but its a one time visit for us.

This reviews only for the new year's eve dinner. The food quality was better last year. They had very limited meat selections. Regrettably, the price increased dramatically from last year, but they didn't tell us until a phone call the day before to be sure we still wanted to keep the reservation. The additional price did not match the food quality or offering. In fact, it was ridiculously expensive for what we experienced. I don't mind paying for a great experience, but this was outside the bounds of what is acceptable. If the prices don't go down next year I will not be coming back. Two adults and one child after taxes and tip was over $400. Not worth it.
Service was great! I ordered New York strip, daughter filet mignon, & husband pasta! Everything was absolutely delicious one of the best steaks I've had! We will be back soon!
This past weekend, the restaurant was super busy but the hosts Bella, Blue, and Monica handled it with grace. The wait was longer than quoted but we were updated by the hosts and they were all so nice about it. Our server Natalie was super timely with everything and so sweet. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. I would highly suggest making a reservation too as it filled up quick but the wait was more than worth it. The food was amazing.
Delicioso! Alimentos y servicio de excelente calidad! Definitivamente un lugar perfecto para festejar
Food very limited, about as good as a buffet at a much lower value chain. Disappointing, nothing special, overpriced.
If I could give a zero I would. Our waitress was the rudest person I ever met. In fact the entire staff was rude except for the busser. She smiled and said hello. I asked the waitress for extra napkin and she replied umm you have one on your table which i knew i was asking for extra. The food was also awful. Chewy and cold. So disappointed.
We sat outside close to a space heater and it was such a beautiful dinner! Do not skip the pollo asada, a phenomenal dish that I wish I took a picture of. Portions were very hearty. We also had the birria empanadas and tortilla soup that were also delicious. Special thanks to Anthony and Makayla for their attention to detail and amazing service. They truly made our night even more memorable.

We had a lovely experience at Cibolo Moon thanks to our outstanding server. We were seated outside as soon as dinner was serving on their gorgeous patio per our request, we didn't have a reservation but for a Friday evening it was not busy yet at that time 5 PM. There was perfect weather but with a heater to accommodate us as the weather became chilly. We had a lovely view of the Christmas events and hill country skyline. They brought us complimentary biscuits, spicy jam and ice water. We skipped ordering appetizers and went straight to the food which came out reasonably fast and blew us away in regards to presentation and flavor. Portions were just right with a little extra to share and sample. Whethef you get salmon, pork, steak or pollo asado you will be impressed. Even the rice that came with my sister's pollo asado was divine. We celebrated my mom's birthday and our server made her special with a cheesecake. So lovely. Will come again.
Note to my fellow reviewers: don't complain things are pricey and rate them poorly on that account. This restaurant is justified in their pricing in my opinion and are transparent with menus provided online.

Cibolo Moon is the pinnacle of resort dining, delivering an experience that perfectly captures the expansive beauty and luxurious spirit of the Texas Hill Country. The high, vaulted ceilings, rich wood, and grand stone fireplace create a sense of rustic elegance, while the outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful resort grounds offers a serene backdrop for any meal. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, making it feel like a true escape.
The Smoked Chili Queso is arguably the best in San Antonio—a creamy, smoky, and spicy masterpiece that sets the tone for the entire meal. For the main course, the 44 Farms Dry-Aged Steaks (or their famous Burnt Ends appetizer) are prepared with a distinct Southwestern flair, demonstrating respect for the quality
As expected from a JW Marriott property, the service is impeccably polished and consistently attentive. Staff members and our server Brianna is highly knowledgeable about the menu and beverage pairings, ensuring your experience is seamless from appetizers to dessert. The Manager, Chris, greated us as well and was very polite and professional.
Cibolo Moon transcends typical hotel dining. It provides a luxurious taste of Texas with elevated cuisine, a world-class tequila selection, and a truly stunning atmosphere. Whether you are seeking a grand buffet, a romantic dinner, or a sophisticated Texas cocktail, this restaurant delivers a flawless, 5-star experience that is worth the drive out to the Hill Country.

Probably the worst service I’ve ever received. I was there for an entire hour and a half, got there when it wasn’t busy and it took 45 minutes for my actual meal to be ordered. My drink was filled up once. I was acknowledged maybe three times the entire time I was there.
