My food was delivered curbside and I wish I would’ve gotten the young man’s name that brought it out. He was super sweet and genuine and very pleasant. Most young people these days have no personality or people skills. I was impressed with the young man.

Went during lunch and there was no wait. The cashier was very patient and helped us save money by pointing out the deals that we completely missed. Crab was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was great as well. Very friendly environment with lots to choose from. Will definitely be returning!

I was really excited about eating at Hooked Boil House. My friend and I had the "all you can eat supreme" buffet which is 58 bucks for each person and we ordered snow crab leg, Dungeness crab leg, lobster tail, crawfish, crawfish Étouffée, mussels, and corns. We were really happy when we saw our foods.
However, when we started eating, we found something was not right. The snow crab leg, Dungeness crab leg, lobster tail and crawfish are too salty. It's the crab meat inside the hard shell that is too salty. It was basically like we are eating the salt. I don't know if it's because of how the restaurant process the seafood, like boil them in salt water first? How come it was so salty? It's not because of the sauce outside the shell because we tried different flavor and the meat inside is salty as the same.
We are frustrated because we want to enjoy the food but we can't. Everyone in the review section seems to be really satisfied with their food, which makes us more confused. Are we the only people who think the seafood is too salty? And we want to know why it taste so salty, like how the food is processed. Is it possible to ask for little or no salt?
The picture is crawfish Étouffée and this one is not salty. I enjoy it a lot.

I was really excited to try this new place, saw the photos and the menu and was really looking forward to the all you can eat option. Sadly upon arriving (you are suppose to pay first and sit after) to my surprise everyone in my table had to order the same thing and pay, that is not a problem I was expecting to pay for me and my wife and the half price for my 3 year old daughter but according to the rules I have to pay as well for my 7 month old son even thought he does not eat anything we do not have on his diaper bag.
The person in front explained that he does not make the rules, but he need to enforce them and anyone in the table even a 7 month old baby has to pay the buffet price.
I think there bigger problem is not training correctly there FOH staff on basic common sense issues such as not charging a 7 month old baby.
We are not coming back any time soon to give this place a second chance.

I loved the crawfish even though it wasn’t in season as it being frozen it’s been the best I’ve had in town as well as amazing service and the owner checks on guests himself best seafood spot around

Hooked Boil House was a great place to have lunch! Being from Louisiana, the food was amazing from the hush puppies, etoufee, poboys, boiled crawfish and beignets. The staff was amazing and friendly, can't wait to come back and have some more food.
Kid-friendliness: The kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets and fries.

Would’ve been delicious if the potato’s, corn, white rice were fresh. Giving this 3 stars only because the music playlist was a vibe. Everything else seemed old. Service was mid.

Just terrible. My hush puppies were hard as rocks, the chicken wings seemed old and were dry, and the panko breaded shrimp which should have been crispy were not. It was take out and I should have returned it but it was high traffic time and once home you don't want to drive back out. Never again. The service guy was wonderful but the cook needs a new job!
