First of all is this “temporarily closed” for the holidays??? They should inform customers. I’ve been calling a no answering machine to let us know.Food is good. Close to authentic as you can get here in San Antonio. Atmosphere needs work. Maybe a TV? A nice fish tank? Some lively color. It’s just a drag and could use a nicer atmosphere.
I love this place, it has been a while since I’ve had Dim Sum, I recently went to order but it was closed! Note on the door stated closed for remodel. Does anyone know when they will reopen??
An overall average American style Chinese restaurant. We went to try the dim sum but weren't very impressed. Filling to dough ratio was lacking and the fillings themselves were not great (especially the chicken, rubbery and bland). The "beef balls" are not actually dim sum, they're just steamed meatballs and the sight was not appealing. The kung pao was fine but nothing special. Prices were decent, $30 for two people and plenty of leftovers. Probably won't...
