El carbonero food truck #1 pollos asados

I really wanted to enjoy El Carbonero Food Truck, but unfortunately the food was sub-par at best.

The biggest disappointment was the lack of flavor. The service and hospitality were actually great, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made a good effort to provide a positive experience. Unfortunately, great customer service can only go so far when the food doesn’t deliver.

I always appreciate good service, but the food is ultimately what brings people back, and this visit just didn’t hit the mark. Hopefully they can bring the same level of care they show their customers into the kitchen.

Best pollo asado and pinto beans made with chicharrones de Puerto. All fresh and very fast. 2 whole chickens, beans, rice and corn tortillas for about $35. Great value! Highly recommend it. You'll be thrilled with this meal.

The food was amazing the ribs were full of flavor and the chicken was juicy. I spent about $90 to feed 10 people we all enjoyed it very much. The only thing that wasn’t a fan favorite from everyone was the rice but the beans were good on the other hand. 8/10

I'm gonna give an honest review hopefully it can be taken as constructive criticism. I usually go to another place but it was too far so I decided to try this one. It has potential, it's not disguisting by any means but I would recommend not reheating the rice and beans as its very noticeable, the tortillas were very broken up and not fully cooked, chicken was very dry, and also the customer service could have been a bit better and positive for reeling in more clientele! I hope this food truck gets nothing but success and lots of returning clients & I hope my review can help :) I know sometimes being blunt can be taken the wrong way but at the end of the day I only do it to make people aware of what can be improved! always remember that if someone has a great first impression they'll be hooked and they'll keep coming back!

I'm actually reluctant to post this review since that might mean more people flock to this good food. This place was truly amazing. As I drove up I could smell the BBQ'd meat which enticed me even further. The menu is in Spanish but not overly complicated if you don't know Spanish: Chicken, Beef Fajitas, Short Ribs, Sausage (etc.)I ordered the medio pollo (half chicken) and it came with perfectly marinated/grilled chicken, big package of grilled onions, a whole grilled jalapeño, big cup of rice, large portion of red salsa, large portion of green sauce, and 4 delicious tortillas.I ordered and within 2 minutes it was ready while they chopped the chicken and prepared the plate. Everyone in the office was jealous and could smell the amazing food. Even people who had already eaten wanted to go get some! I will definitely be back to try the short ribs and other menu items.

Very happy found this place. Very hard find good kind of green sauce that what I am desperate the most and delicious bqq chicken Definitely go back again soon.
