I’ve eaten from El Jefe several times during events at my son’s school. Buns are soft, franks are nicely cooked, and toppings are great. $8 might feel steep for a hot dog, but these are filling and well-made.
Ordered once via food delivery service in 2020 and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Our hotdogs were so delicious, the bread was toasted but still soft and fluffy top tier for sure, must try again soon
Had the mexican hot dog, it had "pico". They basically just cut tomato, onion, and jalapeño and tossed it on the dog. The "pico" needed minimum salt and lime. It was disappointing to call it Mexican and it did not pass. The chili cheese fries were different than what I am used to but they were pretty good, wish they would of spiced their pico the same as the onions ?.
