The refried beans are really good... have a smoky flavor. The rice is good. Enchiladas are Viola Approved! Carne Guisada is good. Queso Flameado... just remember your fire extinguisher En queso emergency.
This place is delicious. I ordered the flautas but was a bit disappointed. The tortillas used for the flautas were very small. Not something I'm used to when ordering flautas. Everything else was perfect!! Food has great flavor and service was awesome!
We came in a bit closer to them shutting down for the night. We weren't greeted at the door for quite a few minutes until we just decided to grab menus and sit down at a table of our choice. I've been to this restaurant quite a few times back in the day, and it's always been just a few clicks above tourist Tex-mex. I've lived in Dallas for 20 years, but I'm 7th generation San Antonian and miss the food for sure, You can find authentic Tex-mex on the west...
