They did not want to make my order, rude customer service just because the door dash people messed up horrible service. Never going again. If there was a negative star rating, this place would get the most negative star review from me. 10/10 I do not recommend

Trash disgusting, to operate a business like that is better close the doors, I was waiting 1:30 to the food be delivered now its 10pm, dry chicken and wrong order. Never ever more I will order anything of this place, do a favor to the community close your doors!!!

Couple of years ago this location was good however it has gone downhill fast. None of the same meal that I order has looked identical AT ALL. I barely get any food, multiple ingredients always missing, chicken looks like a dog just chewed it off a bone. At this point this location needs to close down. If you want good service go to the location on Fredericksburg. That location is run by really sweet older ladies who take pride in their work. There have been times when they have only one worker and she ALONE makes better meals than this location with multiple workers. Don't waste your money here.

I have tried to get food here twice and have not been successful. There is one brave soul working the entire place every time. Therefore, the wait is way too long. They are not paying enough to retain staff and thus you cannot even get food.

I really love the food here but (1) you can't run a restaurant efficiently with 3 employees. The three gentlemen were very kind and helpful but lack direction. They were running around like chickens with their heads cut off-hard workers lacking direction. (2) Then the restrooms-I have added a photo. Very outdated and does not appear to be cleaned on a regular basis. (3) the salsa bar and soda machine is closed. You don't have to have containers open and available for Covid or what have you but perhaps some small containers with lids filled with different salsas. (4) I requested charros beans doe my side but got pinto. No sign of charro in sight. Pollo Loco please give your people some direction so this can be a place where we can sit and eat some good food.

Horrible experience. Places an order for curbside and was there when it said it would be ready. I clicked that I was here and waited 15 minutes so I go inside because it’s taking so long. Literally only two customers in there and no workers come to talk to me they literally just look at me, then finally someone comes. My order was just sitting there on the counter. Not to mention the chicken they gave me is the size of a chicken finger. Lol I will never be back

Only a 1 star because I can't leave a ZERO.Have eaten at El Pollo loco locations all over the country.This was worst experience at any location.Chicken was dry burnt and taste terrible. "Cilantro” was NOT cilantro at all. The leaves were wrong shape taste and smell.Crew during lunch December 21 of 2021 was lost!I will never go to this location again. The interior of the restaurant was terrible. I'm used to the normal well kept restaurants that El Pollo loco has at all their other locations.

The wing was like dehydrated. Zero moisture. Like they found it under something. Light as if it was cardboard. SO was the breast. Texture of plastic. Very hard. They could give two.... about it. They show literally no emotion as if they were high. No pride, and seems they hate their job. Churros...NM taste like 2 year oil. Food has really went down hill. Not to mention bone and bone fragments in their burrito and tacos... like alot, be careful feeding this to children.UPDATE: They responded to this with an automated response. I've already contacted their corporate office. They did nothing to make it better for me. This auto response is deceiving. They made a report and said have a nice day.

There is sometimes seriously wrong with the food in this location. We have tried it about three times for dinner now over the span of four years, and we somehow delusion ourselves into thinking that its going to get better (spoiler, it hasn't). I don't know if they serve days old food, or leave the food out all day when it doesn't sell, but you can clearly see from the photos that we got brown gummy mac and burned dehydrated chicken. The leg pieces of chicken are shriveled and burned and the mac and cheese was inedible. It's a shame because we LOVE el pollo loco, just NOT this location.

I loved this chain in California. This place has bad reviews for a reason. The stray cats in my neighborhood could make a better burrito. Ask for a fork, you'll need it for your burrito after it turns into burrito casserole. Texas, learn to make a dang ole burrito. They are far superior to the inferior taco.

I don't mind the food from here it's kind of a nice alternative with the roasted chicken. However the management of this place is always messing up on ordering from something as simple to not having soda or not having queso. I haven't gone frequently but each time I've gone there out of some main menu items.I was just thankful last time I went I got any food at all since half the fast food restaurants were closed down from staff shortages. The people who work here, however, are always polite.

Chicken is old, burnt and dry. Asked for Mac & cheese and received mashed potatoes. Rice is mushy and over cooked. Beans taste awful - more broth than beans. Needless to say we don’t have dinner for tonight and will never go back to this location.

My husband went today, employees had walked out and next shift employees had not arrived. Manager was kind and efficient. I had difficulty contacting other stores to send her some help. This lady deserves a vacation (paid) And our food was so good.

It was just bad. Food was bland. Thats not El Pollo Loco. Drive thru no one answered. Drove up and 2 of the staff were outside. Inside guy was on his phone. The other female popped out later from somewhere. So disappointing. Have to find another location.

I went today after 3:00 PM and there was a line in the drive-thru, which is normal except for the fact that you have to wait over 30 minutes to place an order. I was unable to reverse due to the presence of vehicles ahead and behind me. When you are in the drive thru line, it is extremely difficult to exit. When I finally arrived to pay for my order, the woman informed me that she was working alone. I adore Pollo Loco, but this location consistently disappoints. Customer service and food are superior at the Fredericksburg and North Star Mall locations.
