Nice little spot
It was a wonderful getaway. San Antonio was a great place to visit & Ernies bar at the Crockett Hotel was the best place to socialize with other guests & some locals. We will definitely have another visit in the future.
Good atmosphere, nice vibe
Greatly appreciated the atmosphere and freidly service!
Joshua made the best Bloody Mary that my husband and I have ever had! His quality service really added you our trip.
Chill place...great service...
Very nice bar at the Crockett Hotel San Antonio Texas. It was very nice. You can have your breakfast in the bar, It opens to provide extra space if the restaurant is crowded. The Bartenders are great, good bar to spend a quiet hour or two at the end of the day.
My wife and I recently visited San Antonio and stayed at the Crockett Hotel. It was a great choice as we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Ernie's Bar is in the hotel lobby and opens at 4:00 in the afternoon... It is a nice, relaxed and enjoyable place to sit and enjoy a drink and watch a sporting event. There are tables and a couple of wide screen tv's, a small bar and a movie theater style popcorn popper....Once you smell the popcorn, well you know how addictive it is. Our bartender was Kelcy and she was great. She was friendly, helpful, polite and real nice person to speak with. In fact she gave us a couple of great tourist tips also.... So if you are near the Alamo and the Crockett Hotel and looking to get a drink and sit down and relax for awhile, then Ernie's Bar is for you....It was definitely for us on this visit to San Antonio.
Clean, drinks were cold, didn't care for the country music, but that's just my personal taste. Server was friendly and attentive.
Wow wow wow wow... the history behind this place.... as usual not enough time to see it all
Restaurantji Recommends
Enjoyed the drinks and the people watching. Even on a Monday.
Really nice
Nice bar in the somewhat dated Crocket Hotel. Half a dozen beers on tap and good selection in the bottle. Not much to eat other than popcorn. Probably the closest watering hole to the Alamo.
Cute, quiet, okay service. Good drink specials
Had a great time with fine people
