Dang, I came by to buy some barbacoa but the building is vacant. On Google it still says it’s open. Bummer 😞
Tamales are great, friendly staff, clean establishment.
Service is not that good, the tamales don’t have a lot of meat in them, and they charge a lot. There are better places.
Drove 40 mins each way to go here. Absolutely worth every mile. ❤️ We had the Chicken, Pineapple, and Strawberry. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

So my uncle suggested we get the best Barbacoa in San Antonio. He was right. Truly enjoyed it!! The line was not too long but well worth the wait. This business followed all COVID protocol; great business and can’t wait to go back.

Salsa was good little spice not hot. have specials all meat and mix barbacoa . beans are bland add your own salt Barbacoa is placed in foil nothing else very messy
We researched looking for the best tamales in San Antonio. Found em! They are repacked by the dozen but they took the time to mix to half dozen orders for us. The chichirones tacos might be one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The Barbacoa tacos didn’t disappoint either. I can’t wait to go back!

We got carryout to take to the AFB for the rest of the family. It was unanimous-best tamales ever. The menudo was good too but the tamales won us over - all 12 of us.
