Is it worth a wait? Sure. The pizza is quite flavorful, and the crust is spot on for my style.

We were trying to find an ice cream shop that we ate at last time we camr to San Antonio, but stumbled upon this gelato shop instead. The gelato is amazing, and you can see in the images how we have already eaten so much of it. Don't worry, they give you lots of it to start with, and the price is decent, but a little high in my opinion ($5.59 per Gelato cup). Amazing gelato, we can't wait to try the pizza!

Good stuff!! I had the strawberry and dark chocolate gelato. My wife had the Mexican vanilla. Super good. We all enjoyed it!!
Small seating area in the back that's air conditioned made it a nice relaxing treat.
The young men working there behind the counter were quite nice.

Fransecos is top notch and does not disappoint. The gelato is takes like authentic Italian gelato. I have had gelato in Italy and I could not taste the difference. Being from NYC the pizza takes like an nyc “slice.” If you go to The Alamo don’t forget to stop at Fransecos.

No pistachio. With an Italian sounding name, number #1 gelato in Italy is piatachio. That's what I was looking for. All the other flavours were sickly sweet combinations, which don't appeal to me.
Mexican Vanilla waffle cone is good. Many flavors to choose from.

The worst gelato of my life, old and tasteless. Super rude staff. He answers ugly and doesn't even know what the flavors are. Very expensive for the paltry amount of gelato they offer you. Ugly and dirty place with cockroaches under the Gelato display case. Don't waste your money. Anymore!

Terrible ice cream. I'm Italian and have had over 30 ice cream shops. Never tried worse ice cream. Not to mention the service: my wife chose two flavors without trying anything. I tried two flavors choosing only one because when I asked to try hazelnut they gave me Nutella and when I told him it wasn't hazelnut he replied "yes it is, I work here". When I asked to try the coffee flavour, Minua said no. Terrible service, vulgar, rude and incompetent. Dirty and confusing environment. Save money and time! Don't come in!
