About Pat O'Brien's

Pat O'Brien's in San Antonio is a lively restaurant known for its live music on the patio and a piano bar. The friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere attract many visitors. Guests often enjoy their famous Hurricane drink, but should be careful not to overdo it. The restaurant has three sections, including outdoor seating, a sing-along piano bar, and an upstairs dance club. The vibe can vary from lively to relaxed, depending on the area. Food options include the muffuletta and the fried shrimp, which comes highly recommended. Drinks are affordable, though some reviews mention that the Hurricanes can be watered down. The live music and friendly staff are often praised as the main highlights. The restaurant is conveniently located near Alamo Plaza, just a short walk from the Riverwalk. It offers outdoor seating, making it a good spot for a casual meal or a drink after a concert or a day out. Despite some security issues mentioned in past reviews, the overall experience remains enjoyable, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant will soon undergo remodeling, and a brand new concept is expected to emerge, so visitors are encouraged to stop by once the renovations are complete.
