Unfortunately we didn't find this place until our last day of vacation. It seems that it has lots of potential, but not until 9:00 pm.
Francis Bogside, an Irish pub located in St. Paul's Square, offers a lively atmosphere with a variety of classic pub dishes and drinks. While some reviewers found the service lacking and the portions small, others enjoyed the authentic feel and different room atmospheres. The menu includes favorites like pretzels, fish and chips, and steak and fries, catering to different tastes. Guests have praised the house cocktails, including unique options like “Sea gets hotter,” “Forget me Nots,” “Arrack The Casbah,” and “Ain’t that a Peach.” Overall, it is a place worth visiting for a taste of Irish pub culture, with room for improvement in service and portion sizes. For those looking for chill vibes, good conversation, delicious food, and unique cocktails, Francis Bogside remains a great option, especially before a concert at the nearby Alamodome.
