The food was on point!
Brent our server/bartender is absolutely the best.
We had the shrimp and scallops as well as the red snapper.

We highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. I began going here just after they opened many years ago and have consistently had a delightful experience there. The service is superb, the food is delicious and the wine selection is excellent, and at a reasonable price! Their Happy Hour is one of the best in town! Don’t miss it!

Excellent food, skilled and engaging service team. The place is low light and intimate for an evening where you can hear your friends or partner.

This place was good and I enjoyed my overall experience. They give excellent service, but I'll be honest and say that as far as the food and prices go, I've paid less for better.

This was my second time here, and honestly, I didn't love the food this time. Plus, it's super pricey, and for what you pay, it wasn't even that good.

Happy hour was awesome, calamari is perfectly cooked and seasoned well. They only have 2 beers but an extensive wine list. Dinner menu looked enticing but we were full on appetizers. Our waitress was great and really explained things well

Loved the atmosphere and music, very relaxed. We went at a less busy time and day during the happy hour. The food was really good over all, the portions are small to reasonable? Only 'negative' was the bacon chicken wraps were a little underwhelming. Other than that, it was an absolutely lovely experience!
I would recommend this place for couples, anniversaries, and small celebrations. The lights are dim, though I didn't have trouble myself someone else might. Parking was very easy, and getting into the restaurant was as well 🙏 I would take my grandmother who can not get around without a wheel chair due to past injuries.

This was my second visit, and once again, I was not disappointed! My party was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and seated. Our main server was polite, patient, and very attentive. He ensured our food and drinks came out quickly and looking amazing! The duck a l'orange is delicious! They definitely know how to do duck! But you'll be hard pressed to order something you don't enjoy.
MY Wife and I visit this place at least once a week. Our experience is outstanding at Friedricks Bistro! The service is exceptional, with every server going above and beyond—Brett, our server, truly stood out as the best. The owner and manager are always warm and welcoming, creating a fantastic atmosphere. What sets this place apart is their commitment to healthy dining. The food is always fresh, prepared with clarified butter instead of seed oils, which makes every dish both delicious and wholesome. Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and cocktails! The ambiance is elegance personified!
I was there for a per-game before we headed to a birthday party. The staff was so friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and the drinks were 5 star. I would definitely go again when I'm in San Antonio.
Went for Valentines, and the menu was Prix Fixe. The appetizers and main courses were good. Not quite the level I remember from the past, but good. The tiramisu I had was great but the 3 dessert combo my date had was really bad. Chocolate items were very bitter, and the creme brulee had a weird grainy texture. It's still a good place, but not elite anymore.
