Freebirds is usually a one dish meal. Not today. But perhaps it’s a sign of the times. I excruciatingly watched as the guy behind the counter sparingly ladle each ingredient into the bowl. I even asked for 2 full servings of protein to bring some volume to the bowl. All in all I’m glad I wasn’t starving. Oh and the ambiance…same great decor as always.
Family went for dinner after church. Kids meals were extremely small. My wife and I ordered bowls the same way, just different protein. My bowl was half the size. My wifes bowl and other bowls up the line were huge. Same person made ours, that was disappointing. Maybe the server thought he would save me some calories.
Whoever makes the burritos at this location deserves a raise , I usually order from the Alamo Ranch location for work and let me tell you those burritos always have something wrong with them either. It’s mostly rice hardly any steak or they just get the order wrong. The burritos at the Stoneoak location are not just perfectly balanced, but perfect perfectly wrapped.
