Had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. Food was excellent and the ambiance was great. Not sure why it’s rated so poorly but we enjoyed our breakfasts. Coffee is excellent.
The valet service was good. We got parking validated at the restraunt so it was nice and we did tip the valet guy. He did a good job and was friendly. Very little wait and was all automated through text. The lobby was beautiful and the xmas decorations were amazing. My only complaint was the hostess never smiled, never wished us merry xmas and her appearance was a mess. Her hair especially just super shocked that there was not a better 1st impression. Even though we got a text our table was ready she had us wait for the table, we were the only 2nd party to be seated the dinning room was empty. Derik was our server and he did a great job. So sweet and lots of smiles. The food was good and the price was so reasonable.
The overall experience was quite great despite there're some tables talking a bit loud than it should've been... The food is solid 8.0/10 so we ordered around $120, and the service was 9.5/10 to me (felt like a 5-star level). Will definitely have the reservation again if we stay The St. Anthony next time!
We spent our first ever Thanksgiving away from home in San Antonio to visit our daughter in military training. We had a party of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner and the Chef accomodated our gluten and dairy allergies (with advanced notice) for the pre-fixe four course menu. The food and service was outstanding. The restaurant and hotel were festively decorated. I am thankful for the team at this restaurant 🙏

Great experience on Thanksgiving with family. Now have gone multiple times on a major holiday on separate occasions and it made the day even better. Thank you!
A nice restaurant for the St Anthony Hotel. Food was decent for the price. Server was polite and friendly despite being the only server on staff for the evening. Would recommend going for the jazz event on Tuesday nights. However, expect a semi decent wait for food.

Children were allowed to run around the restaurant and hotel lobby Food was cold when served small table against a wall
The atmosphere is fantastic and the Spanish jazz duo playing were pros, but the food was a mixed bag. The biscuits and gravy were amazing, some of the best I've ever had but they were room temperature. We ordered a side of bacon that honestly felt like it came out of the fridge and my wife's chicken was raw in the middle for her chicken and waffles. They made it right and we appreciated that but it wasn't the greatest of experiences.
We tried the Sunday Jazz Brunch for the first time and the results were mixed. The Brisket Eggs Benedict was horrible. The brisket was dry, overcooked and had the texture of jerky. The Chicken and Waffle plate was the best that we ever had. Our server recommended that we get the spicy honey sauce that accompanied the dish on the side and she was spot on. Entirely too spicy. But it did come with warm maple syrup and mini jars of honey were on the table. The complimentary valet service was overwhelmed at 10 AM so we parked ourselves.
The place itself is very picturesque and cute. We went early morning on a Friday with reservations and felt our service was not great. There were only 2 other tables at that time and our server would disappear for long stretches of time. The food itself was mediocre and expensive. One of the dishes we ordered came with a side of toast and the toast we were brought had visible green mold. They apologized and comped the dish but it was gross thinking they did not notice that! Again, it’s a beautiful spot and they fixed their mistakes but we were not impressed and would not be back.

I used to really enjoy getting brunch here whenever I stayed at the St. Anthony, but unfortunately they made some changes to the menu, and the selections aren't as appealing to me as they used to be. I probably won't get brunch here again.
The food and atmosphere was great, nice and quiet and relaxing with a nice view of the park. The food was excellent. Highly recommend
Came for breakfast. Coffee cold, potatoes cold, bacon cold, eggs warm. Not a good breakfast spot. Great location. Service was good.
Wanted late breakfast options on a Saturday and we came here. The service was fast and friendly and came back often to check on coffee and to see if food was good or if we needed anything. We both had the rise and shine and our eggs were prepared perfectly, over medium and scrambled with cheese. If you get a meal with an option for bread, absolutely get their scratch made biscuits!! I had mine with whipped butter and honey and might be the best biscuit I’ve had!! Prices were also very reasonable considering located in St. Anthony’s hotel. Each meal was $18 and coffee was $4!!!!

In terms of brunch food, but the price was fairly reasonable. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel and the Saint Anthony is a beautiful, downtown, historic San Antonio Hotel. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy, and the server didn't even refill our glass of water. I'd go back for the ambience and it's in walking distance of the Majestic. So it's a great choice before show.
