Went in to buy some whole split chickens. Bought what was on the shelf. And then asked Kaden who had jjiisstt' started his shift if he could check his cases to see if there were anymore available? He turned & we both looked at his pallet of inventores he had to go through... He Did So with a "Smile," not ONLY on his face but throughout the entire exchange. He was So Sweet & Willing to help. I will say this is one of my favorite HEB's to shop at because it's always clean and the employees are always friendly. I've never had issues with the quality of the produce or meat that I've purchased. Birthday cakes from the bakery are always on point and never disappoint.

Used to love going here and the upper management is still pretty great but every other employee especially at registers are kids, and seem to be insufficient in training and communicating. I asked the register girl can I swipe my card because the new card readers have been bending my debit card as of late, she just stared at me and I said can I swipe it and she says it has to fail first and I said so let the transaction fail or keep trying I don't understand? Again just staring at me. Finally it allows me to just swipe it and I ask her are you not used to people asking about different ways a card can pay, and she just says have a good day with attitude and I get it you deal with alotta people I'm sure but if you're on the clock getting paid and I'm just asking for help or don't know what I'm doing, then isn't their job to help? I'll just order or start going to Costco. I'd recommend doing the same if you're tired of the crowds and people. So much has changed in the last years and not for the better.

H-E-B has a great selection of groceries and comparable prices. Bring a Plus location you can find items like kitchen cookware at this location that you can't at others. The store is clean and well taken care of. The only negative is the parking.

I've been working in New Mexico for the past several months and 2 things we miss dearly from Texas are the food and H.E.B. Friendliest service around and great deals. H.E.B. rocks!!!

Hiyah!!!! my yelping family....allow me to talk about a grocery store that is near and dear to my heart BUT first let me give you some information about parking. This location is quite popular because the lot is ALWAYS packed BUT never fear the people who work there will get you in and out as soon as possible. I will say 1 thing for sure its BIG so you wont drive past it and if you go down further there are other stores to shop in as well as a NEW Costco but lets get back to HEB! I LOVE the pharmacy people there...they are friendly.....HELPFUL and FULL OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE....I mean even down to the managers and supervisors. You have problem? They will indeed help you solve your issue. I will say when I left CVS I was in tears and by the time I finished talking to HEB my frown was upside down and I was back to being happy...so much so I am transferring ALL my perscriptions to them and have accepted them as my new home. I always LOVED HEB and this gives me one more reason to ADORE this place because they TRULY care for the customer and making sure they give them priority...CHEERS to you HEB!
