VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! OVER PAID FOR FOOD MY DAUGHTER AND I COULDN’T EAT!
Treated my daughter to lunch and quickly regretted choosing that place!
The salsa that’s served with the chips is sooo watery made with huge chunks of onion. The sauce wouldn’t stay on the chips and very hard to eat.
They took 30 minutes to serve us even though there were only two other tables eating at the time.
When they set my plate down , I noticed that my food looked nothing like the pics in the menu. I ordered the Patron and it’s supposed to be served with carne guisada. They failed to add it so I had to have them bring it separately. The food didn’t look at all appealing. The crispy taco, chalupa, & enchiladas were buried under a ton of unmelted white shredded cheese. When they finally brought out the carne guisada, the gravy was too red and lumpy. The beans on my lunch plate was served with chorizo, which I couldn’t eat because I only like chorizo with breakfast beans. I only ate the crispy taco and chalupa because I didn’t want to complain. At the same time I noticed that my daughter wasn’t eating her Gordita plate. She showed me how white and unappealing her chicken looked. She said it had absolutely no seasoning, it was super bland! The tortillas were really thin&and unappealing as well.
When I was going to pay for my ticket, I wanted to make sure I brought it up to the manager or owner that was in charge. He had something to argue about with everything that we pointed out. He said that the beans were watery because they came from a new batch. I have never been served such watery beans anywhere that I’ve eaten. He kept saying that no one ever complains about their food and that we were the only ones . He was straight up lying because the lady sitting behind me sent back her crispy taco, I overheard her telling them that they mistakenly gave her chicken instead of beef. She was also getting annoyed because they took really long to redo her order.He didn’t offer a discount or anything. I paid $40 for eating one chalupa, one crispy taco and my daughter only ate one Gordita. At the end of our discussion I told him that I was going to leave a review and he walked away. He was so rude by raising his voice to me and pointing at me. I was embarrassed because everyone was looking at us. He could at least have made it right and now we will never return. I mentioned that I’m visiting from Corpus Christi and I could’ve gone somewhere else to eat.I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. Go somewhere else!!!

Don’t waste your time or money here. The salsa should have been a red flag, it was soupy and chunky at the same time. The chicken in the Gordita had no seasoning. The beans were watery. We spoke to the manager gentleman and he tried to explain that it was because it was a new set of beans. The other plate’s beans were thicker and redder. We didn’t even finish half our plates but were still charged almost $40. The wait time was long even though there were only 2 other tables. Never seen a Mexican restaurant with no queso dip and no pico de gallo. They messed up on the order of the table behind us too. The manager just kept giving excuses and was very unprofessional by pointing his finger at my mom when she was expressing our disappointment. The Gordita was so unseasoned we ended up taking it home to our dog. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the manager took no accountability or cared less.

The food was simplistic flavorful and well made. The breakfast tacos are pretty big and tasty. No one on staff spoke English, so there were minor confusions. No big deal. I had the ham and eggs it came with beans and potatoes. I didn't particularly care for the breakfast potatoes, they weren't crispy and had no flavor. But the rest of my meal was good. But for breakfast... anyway from here out I'll be ordering a taco! We'll be back

First time at this restaurant. I ordered a few breakfast tacos to go. The waitress was very kind. The tacos were tasty but the chicharron with egg fell really short. There were only a few pieces of chicarron and they were very hard. Not what I expected for that type of taco, but the bacon and egg was great.

I got Huevos Rancheros and a cup of coffee and paid $14.54
On their menu says huevos rancheros $5.50

Came is wanting a large quesadilla only, shop said it’s only available as a plate. Didn’t want the rest of the items but they charged me for the plate and said they couldn’t remove other items. Meat was chewy and did not have much flavor. The plate and a small can soda with tip 21.24. So mad I couldn’t even enjoy this expensive lunch.

Probably the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had. Great breakfast tacos. I would recommend any with egg over the fajita chicken.

We were in SA for the weekend and were looking on Google maps for a Mexican restaurant for breakfast near our hotel. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. 👍🏻 they offered us something to drink and the café de olla was delicious. They were very attentive and the food was good. Large portions of food and the flour tortillas were homemade. We'll be back on our next trip in to the area.

Took too long menudo was only the juice 3-4 tiny pieces of meat no hominy,tortillas sucked,carnitas ok i guess,I was the only person there for them to take soo long.I won't be returning.

This place has gone down hill. Last 3 times I have come the service has been very below average. If you want to go somewhere where they can’t handle orders or they ignore their customers. This is the place to come.
