I’ve been to Hash twice now—first when they were renovating, and again once the space was finished. Both times the food was outstanding. Everything is 100% plant-based, but it never feels like you're missing out—just great comfort food, done thoughtfully.
The burgers, tacos, fries, and elote were all seasoned uniquely and packed with flavor. I especially appreciated that nothing felt greasy or overly heavy, which can be a risk with comfort food. The breakfast burger...
With a name like HASH, and being next to a distillery, I imagined pot references and paraphernalia everywhere. That wasn’t the case. The staff were friendly, the lemonade was fantastic, and the food was good. I ordered the elote, phish tacos, and the guisada Mac and cheese.
IMHO the Mac and cheese comes in third behind Mission Burger’s bbq Mac and cheese and homemade, but I can see why people love it.
The phish tacos look like they’re made with tofu and were very savory....
Hash's menu offers a variety of vegan options. Its a cozy, casual atmosphere with a comfy dive vibe. The service is amazing and makes you feel at home. We meet up with friends weekly there, and they offer board games and video games to play as well.
