I wanted to pay my respects to Calvin. I was having a horrible, stressful day—my flight out of San Antonio was canceled, getting out of downtown was a challenge because of the Spurs vs. NY game, and internet outages seemed to be happening everywhere.

I stepped into High Street Wine, and Calvin immediately put me at ease. He reassured me that everything would be okay—and it was.

While enjoying a couple of chilled proseccos, I watched a FIFA match, managed to schedule a bus ride, and made my way back home to Dallas that same day.

It’s rare these days to find someone so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely in tune with their customers. Calvin’s kindness and calm presence turned a very difficult day into a memorable one, and I am incredibly grateful for his hospitality.

Leah’s service was absolutely top notch. She was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and made everything feel seamless. It’s rare to find that level of professionalism paired with genuine warmth.

Huge selection and great prices. They have many wines that you can’t get anywhere else. I greatly enjoy the happy hour. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is gold. Celebrated my baby shower here and I was so pleased with my service. I love the atmosphere very upscale and classy vibes. The food was awesome my friends enjoyed the experience. Desiree (Des) the event coordinator (please excuse my spelling) is super helpful she’s very kind and a joy to work with she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything to make my event successful. Please celebrate/dine/visit here if you are considering, you won’t be disappointed. Also the wine selection is superb they even have classy non alcoholic options. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience, thank you.

Walking in as I was walking around the river trail, this place is in the Pearl area. It was a very nice upscale bar; they have a lot of options to choose from. Their amazing glass seller has a lot of options to choose from. I had a flight where you were able to choose your own rewind, and I was able to choose from a small list. I do wish the list was bigger, as they had many options, but most of them are sold by bottles in their store if it's not on the list.

I hosted a little get together for my podcast launch, and High Street was amazing! Their entire staff is so sweet, accommodating, and overall lovely. I’m a gluten free girlie but High Street has accommodating options and I didn’t go without (spicy feta is my favorite). They even were kind enough to add my podcast picture to the tv in the room we were in. I’ll forever recommend this lovely place. And I’ll definitely continue to come here for future events! Thank you for making this moment so easy for me. 🫶🏽 Especially at such short notice!

Leaving a review because I had the chance to experience a family friend get engaged
,but because of planning errors the Pearl patrol did not allow the band he hired to play on the open grass area in front of Cured. However he said he was lucky enough for the owner( not totally sure) of High Stree Wine, to allow the band to play in front of the establishment. It was such a kind thing to allow them to do ! Definitely coming to High Street Wine one my next day off. The purposal went great!

The food was reeaally good, simple yet with big flavor - hummus, olive tapenade, and the prosciutto and fig flatbread, were all very tasty! The live dj electro/house music mix was great, too.
