Absolutely love Hook n Reel. We go here too much. Been going here for years since they opened. Friendly service. Ahhhhhhmazing manager, he always keeps us laughing and make sure we are satisfied before we leave. We have had many birthdays here. We will recommend and will be back.

The food quality has gotten better. It used to be amazing a few years ago!! Then a little over a year ago it suddenly wasn't up to par and the service went downhill. Decided to give it another try a few months ago and was happy with the new menu change. Service was better. But still needs improvement. Servers need to be more attentive. We saw our drinks sitting in the bar well for quite awhile before receiving them. Resulting in them being Luke warm/ melted vs cold and...

It’s just okay—like the kind of meal you’d politely eat at your in-laws’ house and say, “Mmm, interesting!”

The broil wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t worth writing-home about either. Our waitress seemed like she was training for the Memory Olympics—refusing to write anything down—and predictably forgot items I ordered. A noble effort, though.

The crawfish? Very chewy. Very tired. Like pieces of a rubber tire.
