The host on 14 July at around 12:30pm did not greet us instead she rushed on how many of us and proceeded to let us know it was a 25-30 minute wait unless we wanted to sit outside, since we have an 8 month old we asked if we could check how hot it was since this is Texas and sometimes the temperature is too hot/humid and she seemed bothered by that, we checked and decided it was too hot and wanted to sit inside. We had a delicious dinner today ( Sat. 3/29). I had the grilled redfish and hubby had the grilled half chicken. We also had fried green tomato's and a side salad as an appetizer, we had the classic margaritas. Topped off dinner with a fruit cobbler dessert. 10 out of 10. The food and drinks were very delicious! our server Kaitland was awesome and very informative. We loved her!
Highly recommend!!
We held a nurse retirement party today in their Sun Room. Everything was wonderful! Brandon was the best!

Ida Claire is a popular restaurant known for its southern cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. The food is good, though a lot is spicy. The restaurant is well-organized and offers limited but good menu selections. Recent customers have praised appetizers like fried green tomatoes and blueberry lemon biscuits. The classic margaritas and fruit cobbler dessert remain popular choices. Many enjoy dishes like shrimp and grits and the low country breakfast. The staff, including servers, are friendly and attentive. The server was noted for being attentive without being intrusive. Although the restaurant can be bustling and noisy, this adds to the festive feeling. Some guests have experienced minor delays or shortages, but many still enjoyed their meals. Parking can be limited, and customers should be cautious, as towing is enforced. The hostess was accommodating for a brother with special needs, and an individual even offered free cookies from the chef. Overall, the experience at Ida Claire continues to be positive and delightful.
