Wow had a great time seeing Doc Watkins and his orchestra perform a Charlie Brown’s Christmas! I will definitely be back! Tried a few of the appetizers the Salmon dip was amazing and so was the bread pudding. Doc definitely puts on an amazing show!
Jazz, TX!!!! What can I say? This place ROCKS. The food, the drinks, the MUSIC, the atmosphere…all fantastic. We went on a Saturday night in December during their Christmas in Jazz, TX series. That night, owner and top-rate pianist, Doc Watkins, along with his orchestra performed tunes from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” with the inimitable Meg Bodi on vocals (TERRIFIC singer!). Jazz, TX is a must-try experience at The Pearl in downtown SA.
