Mom and Tia had pancakes, My husband had a cowboy sandwich, and I got the pancakes. The food was delicious. The reason I gave 4 stars for the food was there were no non-pork meat options. No turkey or beef bacon, or turkey or beef sausage. We were disappointed, and hope this option is added to their menuPancakes were huge by the way. Also loved the music that was playing. The 80s and 90s pop had me chewing to the beat.Dietary restrictions: Would like a non pork option turkey bacon or turkey patties.Parking: There was plenty of parking available and parking was freeWheelchair accessibility: Easy access into the building and had a variety of places to sit.

Jim's Restaurants are fantastic. Why are they closing them all down one by one ???

Julie and whoever the cooks were this evening were amazing! The tortilla soup made me feel so much better, all of my family's food was so yummy ? as well. Julie needs a raise, she was so busy and still made sure we had full drinks and anything else we needed. People don't really give out great customer service like that anymore and we just really appreciate her! Thanks Julie, you're the BEST!

This was my favorite place to eat at, until today. The last time I ordered from here, the chicken wasn’t cooked well, but I thought maybe it was just a one time mistake. I ordered today, and again, that was the case. Some parts were RAW!Never again.

Maybe it's the nostalgia for my family and I. Maybe it's the hot tortilla soup when I'm feeling low or the warm apple pie and cinnamon ice cream after a game, but whatever it is I just love Jim's and I love this location! It's not super quick but it's really good food and nice big booths to stretch out with the family. Saturday morning I had my dad, niece, all three kids daughter-in-law, two grandkids and myself nestled into one of their larger booths and we had everything from chicken and waffles to senior veggie omelets. Very few places can satisfy the entire family like Jim's can. Massive buttery biscuits, tender juicy chicken tenders, flame grilled frontier burgers, flaky catfish, cold Boston cream pie, ... This place just hits like very few other places can. The old waitresses ain't as young as they once were but they sure do get the job done, and it's a joy to be greeted by their smiling faces! If you're looking for a meal, especially with the family, that takes you back to a simpler time this is the place to go. Grab a couple straws and split a milkshake with your "best girl" like Grandma and Grandpa used to or swing by for a midday sampler basket with cheese sticks, tenders, and fried mushrooms and watch the traffic drive by on San Pedro Hildebrand. Better yet, make a trip of it and take the train at nearby Brackenridge Park or visit the San Antonio zoo and then come cool off and make a great dining memory with the family at Jim's! It honestly doesn't get much better than that!

Good diner for breakfast. We had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and the breakfast tacos. Tacos were good and filling, 2 big tacos and I could only eat 1. The gravy was good but it just had a little big of sausage crumbled on top. Definitely needed more sausage. Overall, food was good.
