The ambiance at Mastelo is truly special. It feels like you've stepped into Mexico itself with colorful walls, succulent plants and salsa music playing in the background. The margaritas and guacamole are top notch too. A wonderful dining experience overall.
Having lived in Mexico for several years, I know real Mexican cuisine when I taste it. Mastelo delivered on all fronts with rich, bursting with flavor plates and a warm, welcoming ambiance. The tortilla soup is spicy and creamy, and the sopes are miniature corn cakes topped with savory fillings. An amazing spot for authentic mexicali food in San Antonio. Gracias Mastelo!

For fresh, authentic street-style tacos and burritos, look no further than Mastelo. They use only the freshest ingredients and most secret recipes and spices to create mouthwatering Mexican fare. The space itself is also really cool with a fantastic mural and vibrant decor. I will definitely be back again soon!
