So beautiful and so amazing resaturate and good for personal people.
The service and atmosphere are great. It's in the older section of town but it has character. The food was plated and presented beautifully. I marked it down because everything needed more salt or acid. The beef was so tender but needed a pinch of salt or something to bring the flavors through. The Brussels sprouts needed some acid to elevate them.
Fantastic food, great relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff.
We were walking by going to a different restaurant and saw this place. The menu looked good, so we switched our plans. Very happy we did. Menu has a nice variety. Had some oysters and tried the lamb shank. 2 great choices! Place had a cool bistro feel. Staff is friendly and helpful
Julia’s is an awesome blend of French fare and SouTex laidback friendliness off Blanco.
Sat the bar on a Saturday evening and really enjoyed the conversation, watching the tender work and embracing the vibe.
Great bespoke drinks. Awesome flavors with every dish, with nice touches of SouTex in classic Euro fare! Toughest part is deciding which!
Really great experience all around.
What happened to this place? A couple of months ago, the food was mind blowing. A new, creative menu all the time and the chef was very consistent. I think they are under new management, the owner has fallen ill and it has not been the same. What a shame. Do not waste your time with this place, it’s over priced and below mediocre. Save your money. Also, the servers need to practice wearing undergarments, very unsightly.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very quick service and excellent quality food. The sauce for the chilaquiles made me think of my mom. She made the best sauce. Highly recommended!
Happy hour must have is the grilled Ceasar salad, nice char with a creamy tasty dressing. Escargot were delicious with baguette to sop up the sauce. Barbacoa bourguignon was perfect- velvety tender beef with a savory gravy. The chicken piisccata was tasty as well. Relaxed place - we had the best server - Lala, who pulled it all together to a meal not to be forgotten.
Another really lovely meal, the special -halibut orzo in putanesca sauce was just excellent. Grilled ceasar salad and escargot to start. My birthday boy had a surprise s'mores mousse - Lela was or server - she just brings joy to the table. A perfect night out
Waitress was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable about the dishes. Fast service like unbelievable fast service it's insane how fast the food was brought out. The food is light and decadent, as well as the drinks. The music is an absolute vibe. The atmosphere is very chic and relaxed. Phenomenal just out of this world food, service, little hole in the wall slice of heaven. We will make this our regular place now 100% French onion was delicious and not too hot. The shrimp tostada's were very light. The food overall is light aside from the pasta dishes. Escargot were so soft and delicious. I have never had such tender escargot before. Everything was absolute perfection. I'm not a fruity dessert person, but the bourbon apple bread pudding with ice cream had me. Very generous dessert size and absolutely delicious.
Dietary restrictions: I have GERD and cannot eat heavy foods. My father has IBS and has stomach issues as well. These foods were very light and crafted well enough to not trigger any issues relating to these issues.

So cute and great location for antique shopping afterwards. Went to brunch with my mom here and it was just perfect, unfussy, uncomplicated, parking in the nearby neighborhoods is a safe bet if you don't get parking right in front. I recommend the egg and avocado toast.

Loved eating here. The food was delicious. I had the steak frites and my husband had the braised lamb shank birria and everything was superb. Holly was our waitress and she was the absolute best. The food lured us in but her service and conversation will keep us coming back. And Jason the bar tender made us a sangria with wine that was top notch (because we both love sweet wine). Anyone in the area or not in the area needs to try it at least once.
Wheelchair accessibility: They're wheelchair accessible and very friendly.
