I ate at Kerbey Lane Cafe for the first time today. I had the California omelet with a biscuit and potatoes and a cappuccino. I had the sauce on the side of the California omelet, because I wasn't sure how spicy it would be. The sauce was not too spicy and it was delicious, but I'm still glad I got it on the side, because I don't like a ton of sauce on my eggs. The black olives on the omelet are a great touch. The biscuit was perfectly baked - soft and flaky with just the right amount of outer crisp. The potatoes were well seasoned and crispy. And the cappuccino was well made. I sat at the counter and it was clean and the service was great. I will be back again.

I just moved to Texas from Colorado. Kersey Lane is easily my favorite place for breakfast. The cinnamon roll pancakes are insanely good! I will definitely be back!

Cute restaurant, service is usually on point, and the food is good. It does get loud, but it's reasonably priced and a nice place to meet up with friends

We were a party of 6 and arrived around noon. The menu was misleading as the plates state choose one side which indicates the side is included with the meal. The sides are an additional cost, the menu should state choose one side for an additional cost. Every single appetizer was out of order except the hummus. The issue I have was after ordering 3 different appetizers and being told each time they were out, I would expect the waiter to tell me they only had the hummus. I felt like the waiter was going to let me go through all the appetizers before telling us what was available. I also ordered a drink and was told this was out as well. It was frustrating as it seemed nothing was available in the middle of the day. The waiter also had one of us pass around the drinks at the table instead of placing the drinks in front of us. I did not like the service here and would not recommend going as this restaurant does not have anything available on the menu.

Kerbey is our staple brunch and diner spot, we’re so thankful to have it as a little bit of Austin in SA! This location is super cute and the food is always great. Service is also really good and the wait staff is super nice. My only minor complaint is that they seem to be out of some of the drink and food options from time to time, but they do have a huge variety of other options to pick from!
Tables cleaned and just sitting there adding to extremely long wait times. Original wait time of 45 minutes off by 30+ minutes.

Food is usually pretty good. My one gripe, just remove the join waitlist option from Google if it doesn’t actually work and only shows current wait time. Show up thinking you joined the waitlist only to show up and not actually having been on the list.

Food was great! I got the French toast this time the pancakes are definitely better! Amazing customer service the bartender is super friendly! Atmosphere is welcoming. I think I found my new brunch place! Highly recommend coming here, even the oatmeal was good. And they aren't stingy with the fruit!

Vegan options!! I’ve been here 3 times now and each time was great. Lots of vegan options. The vegan queso is the best! The service has been friendly and helpful each time I’ve been here. My non-vegan companions were also pleased with their meals. I would definitely suggest this place to my vegan and non-vegan friends. Great place!!

Texas Benedict was great. The hollandaise was great but I recommend getting it on the side as there was a lot.

Down home eatin’. Chicken Fried Steak is at least as good as Mom used to make. (Even when it was my turn to 'hammer' the steak with the tenderizing mallet.) Designed to facilitate visiting with your Dad - Mom - Family rather than unnecessary noise. This was my 3rd time here with my granddaughter. There will be more.
