Kims Galbi Reviews
We came in from out of town. Our family recommended us to go eat there! It was our first time eating Korean BBQ! We loved it!!!! Our children liked the shrimp tempura, shrimp friend rice and ramen. Make sure you order just the regular broth with the ramen 🍜 if it’s for your kids. If not it’s a bit spicy if you don’t. It’s very temp hot too. Ethan are server was pleasant and attentive. Great for birthdays too! I love how they sing to you and play the happy birthday...read full review
The service was very prompt and overall we were pleased. I do think the meals we cooked for ourselves were a bit pricey but we will go back! The kimchi friend rice was my favorite.

Kim's Galbi is a Korean restaurant in San Antonio known for its great food and service. It is family-owned and features very friendly staff, making celebrations special. The meat combo for 4 remains a popular choice, highlighted by tasty marinades. Customers appreciate the option to cook their own meats, with all-you-can-eat servings offering plenty of food. The restaurant emphasizes that uneaten food must be finished or a fee is charged, encouraging guests to eat responsibly. The seafood pancake and side dishes are very flavorful, and the meats are well marinated and cut. The yakimandu is hand-made, and the kalbi, bulgogi, and spicy pork are consistent favorites. The tteokbokki is amazing with its interesting texture and spicy-sweet sauce, and the Donkotsu Ramen remains flavorful. The chapjae is well-balanced, avoiding excessive sweetness, while the jajang myun lives up to its reputation as “Korea’s favorite dish.” The pajeon, served on a cast iron plate, stays crisp and hot. Although prices can be higher during dinner, visiting for lunch Monday-Friday offers great value. The restaurant is recommended for families and KBBQ lovers, offering fresh food, quick service, and affordable prices, making it a top choice for Korean barbecue in San Antonio.
