King's Bowl Chinese Restaurant

If you love Chinese food and you've never visited King's Bowl you are missing out this is a family-owned restaurant they are so nice and the food is oh so very good I couldn't recommend a better place to grab some grub

Been coming to Kings Bowl since 1999. Awesome food and great people.

When I want quick and delicious chinese food, Kings bowl is my go to! Especially for their lemon, orange, or sesame chicken. They are NOT stingy on their rice or meat! Even with the sauce it's always crispy! I love having leftovers for lunch. They are always super nice to me and greet me with a smile whenever I pick up for dinner.

The beef and broccoli today was not good.
It was unpleasantly soggy, chewy and had a weird taste the veggies were so overcooked they just dissolved in my mouth.

I went through the drive thru for a large shrimp fried rice and a crab rangoon. When I asked the old man at the window for extra duck sauce, he practically fought me saying “its in the bag”. Then he finally gave me 4 sauces. When I got home with my food there was nothing in the bag but the 4 he put. Also no crab rangoon sauce. I had to drive all the way back for rangoon sauce and when I got there he had the nerve to wanna charge me for 3 more duck sauce. I’ll NEVER go to this place again! I was inconvenienced and he’s got the nerve to wanna charge me for sauce. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

This Chinese food is hot fresh and super flavorful! It's pickup only because that's just how they roll! Call in your order or just show up, you won't wait long at all. When we just want to pickup and eat at home, this spot is it! The quantity of food is also amazing! 😀

Great lunch specials that include soup and your choice of fried rice, steamed rice, or lo mein. The lemon chicken is always served in generous portions and comes out fresh and hot. The owners are very friendly, which makes the experience even better.

It’s currently takeout only since the dining room is closed, but it’s definitely worth stopping by.

9 years ago I wrote a review for this restaurant that was not the best and now…. This place is AMAZING their customer interactions are next level, the food is like none other, and they are super kind.

Mind you these are the same people! we’ve both grown as people and they’re doing a phenomenal job. I wish them all the best and continued success for their restaurant it’s now one of my favorites and I’m constantly recommending it.

Drive Thru, super friendly and efficient, big portions and extremely delicious, ordered the beef curry meal with crab rangoons and egg drop soup!! Will have to make this a regular stop now.

Very tasty food. Very generous portions! The gentleman at the drive-thru window is so nice and charismatic. I could eat a hundred of their pan fried dumplings because they are so so good!

The best fresh shrimp fried rice yummy. I Ordered beef and broccoli for the first time very very good. Hot and sour soup is delicious 😋 thank you Kings Bowl for another great dinner. See you'll soon.

This restaurant is somewhat of a best kept secret in San Antonio. I lived across the street from this place years ago and never thought it was operational or had much business.

The portions were great for the price, the quality of the food was also on point, and the owners were nice. 10/10 - Hands down.
