The food was good, service was good. Nice little place near the hotel. Its a great place if youre looking for something different.

This is actually a very very late review but it pops into my mind every now and again. I felt that I should write it because it may save someone else.
Just after the pandemic (maybe 2023) my coworker and I went to have lunch. Everything was fine, the service was a little slow but it'd was post lunch and we weren't in a hurry.
I had some soup, miso I think. I had a spoonful in my mouth when I noticed something hard - i figured it was a bone. I pull out - FROM MY MOUTH - a screw.
What's even worse? They rang me up for the soup when we paid! If I hadn't said anything they were absolutely going to charge me for dangerous and contaminated food.

The sweet tea right off the bat was amazing and refreshing. I ordered the sesame chicken. Was worth evert penny.

I had a horrific experience here. Never in my life have I encountered a business like such. I ordered the duck plate that was priced at slightly above $20 dollars including tax. My partner ordered the chicken. The duck looked dissatisfying. Yet I took a bite into it thinking it would be okay. I nearly threw up. The duck was old and spoiled. It was very hard and dark coloration. I called asking for a refund for just my duck dish, they agreed. I went down to the business, the owner (a woman) was being extremely rude. She was saying mean and hurtful things. THE WORST way you can treat a customer. She refused to give me my refund after giving me her word and making me drive back to the location. THEY USE OLD/ROTTEN ingredients. The chef openly admitted to me that the duck was old. Highly advise not to spend your hard earned money here!! Quiet spot, humble decor with lots of pothos plants. Dined here on a Saturday evening about 6:30 and the place was empty except for a couple of single patrons enjoying meals alone. Would highly recommend the large Tom kha soup on a chilly day. Some of my crab rangoons took a little swim in the tom kha. The Panang curry was also wonderful. The Philly roll I got was great, very filling with the double rice layer. The whole meal for 2 was $56, before tip, if that helps you get an idea. The service was super fast and friendly, but not like, in your face checking on you too much. It's a quaint place to just have a long conversation with someone- nothing fancy. Clean bathroom. Next to a super cute looking bookstore that was closed when I went- so I'll have to return.

The food was tasty and the place feel so nice and comfortable. The restaurant has so real plants that make the place super special. There is not parking space to park. You will really enjoy your food and I recommend it.

I ordered steak and shrimp, both tasted horrible, no flavor in shrimp, steak just tasted awful, it might have been super old or something,I can still taste that nasty aftertaste, rice was okay, I’ve had better, anyway my first and last time coming here.
Horrible service. Seriously, do not go here. Food is not worth not even being approached to take an order. We waited over an hour to receive our food, and the restaurant was almost empty. Just go somewhere else.

I am used to a bit more generous portion but considering the location/price the food is a great option if you are seeking some Asian food in River walk. Food was served quick and tasty. They did a great job on our Drunken Noodles and I highly recommend it
