Great place and had a wonderful time
I totally enjoyed this spot , Victor and Jess were the employees on shift when I came with a friend , they were very knowledgeable about the history of the Maverick family and the liquor . I love it and I’ll recommend this place any time

Based on the reviews, Maverick Distilling offers an absolutely fantastic experience with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is great, friendly, and helpful, with real passion behind what they are making. The tasting flight was excellent, and standouts included the Bottled-in-Bond, Rodeo Edition, and Four Grain Single Barrel. The drinks are top notch, with one guest noting it was the best Old Fashioned they have ever had. The site is awesome, and guests enjoy seeing the distilling equipment through the glass. A unique highlight is being shown an original Republic of Texas-era treasury note discovered in the same vault space used for barrel aging. The atmosphere is genuinely educational without feeling pretentious, making the experience feel genuinely connected to Texas history. The place stands above and beyond in a sea of neighborhood mediocrity. Guests appreciate that the staff does not push a top product just for a bigger sale. Many guests leave with a bottle and express a strong desire to return for the full experience, including special whiskey events like the girl scout cookies and whiskey pairing.
