My favorite go to spot if I want some homey style Japanese food. I loved the food and would go back

It was difficult to see where to park/how to get to the right building. I can't wait to see when the building is done being renovated. The sushi was great and the people and vibe was even better. It's quiet and cozy, and we were here on the 4th of July so it's definitely a hidden gem.
The food is good but a bit salty for my pork Katsu anyway next time i will back to try sashimi 🤗

Koi Kawa used to be my go to sushi spot. It's lost a little of its luster, but it's still a pretty solid choice. And yes, I still killed 4 rolls!
The best Japanese food I’ve had in San Antonio. The food is authentic and delicious and the staff is amazing. It’s a little secluded but the location doesn’t disappoint

Easy in, easy out.
Japanese tradition rooted in its core.
Thank you
Incredibly average and unmemorable. The samurai roll was a joke and I should have done 6 nigiri instead because that was a sorry excuse for a specialty roll. The Philadelphia roll tastes better at Whole Foods and the miso soup was overly salty. Aside from all that, never got a water refill and the service was below average. Glad we tried it and know not to go back.

Hate to give such a bad review I used to love this place and the food is great however my recent experience was absurd we asked for soda and our server said they didn’t have any soda while I saw soda being served to other tables she then proceeded to not give us an option other than water???

The food is great, the location is pretty, but the price is steep and portions unimpressive. You will pay 20 and still be hungry if you are like me.
This place is a hidden gem . hataya.... Highly recommended for vegan options ⛩️

First, the food was delicious! The service was top notch. The only negative thing I can say is that it was very cold. I would still go back though!
