Living in the Panhandle of Texas, finding a good TexCzech kolache is next to impossible. I don't mean klobasniky (sausage roll), they are everywhere.
If you find yourself in San Antonio, however, may I recommend to you the Kolache Stop, east of I-10 on Huebner. Great selection of delicious–and authentic–kolaches in a welcoming and comfortable establishment.

We wanted to try a Tex-Czech Kolache & we weren’t disappointed! We tried seven different- both savory & sweet! Favorites were Green Chile Chicken & The Apricot!!
The service was terrific & the coffee good too!
