I wasn’t able to rate this place because I showed up on a Wednesday at 8:45am and it was closed, when google maps showed it was open on Wednesdays starting at 6:30 am. Disappointed I couldn’t try the food.

The barbecue was okay?. It wasn't greasy but it had no flavor on its own. ?It's a local spot so it was nice to support the but I'll probably won't go back ?.

Amazing barbacoa! It's the only place I get it from, and I have been coming here since I was a kid. Tamales are also amazing!

The Barbacoa was no good n corn tortillas were hard. I'll never go there again. Where I was younger it was delicious we go to get our Barbacoa there all the time when there parents would make it but now it's no good to me.

Unfortunately, the tortillas are not the same anymore! We bought 3 packs of flour for the holidays and they were hard as cardboard. Not going there anymore!

Just had the worst experience. Bought some chicharone that had no flavor, tasted burnt and had a layer of fat when requested dry. Worst part was the lady's attitude ? very unprofessional and rude after acknowledging that the skins used are to be young skins and are probably old. Which means one thing. That other people have the same complaint. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. DO NOT BUY CHACHARONES WITHOUT INPECTING IN FRONT OF HER.THEY SUCK AS BAD AS HER ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

It's small dingy, not enough parking the barbacoa is expensive, chicharrons plain or with meat, tamales but the worst is the flour tortillas $5 a dozen and let's not forget the rudest service by that heavy set Hispanic lady...I spent $80 and they don't even have tongue, the carnitas were bad!!!!

This place has the best tamales and baracoa ever! I have been going here for many many years. I started eating here when I was a young girl. My grandmother use to work here before she had passed. This place will be the ultimate place to pick up tamales and baracoa. Every time I visit, this is a must stop! The meat is so tender and delicious. I buy it by the pounds! The tamales are always so good and fresh usually buy more than a few dozens. If you are in the area and have never stopped in please do! This is a hidden gem with the most authentic delicious food I have ever tasted!

We came from Dallas and asked our friends where to get barbacoa and they sent us here. I see all the good reviews and I wish we had the same experience. There was no flavor in the barbacoa nor in the salsa that they charged $1 for. The chicharrones did not have any flavor. Super disappointed and bummed out. We had to ask the restaurant downstairs at the hotel for salt. 1 star just because I had to put something.
