When I ask for all meat, they do their very best to give you all meat without any fillers. I usually ask to see what they are giving me for final approval to buy it. I learned this from my Father. He is now deceased but taught me how to buy my barbacoa. Their flour tortillas are delicious too. I wished they carried Blue Big Red.
The service is very slow. The barbacoa is delicious. They need to get organized. They could package the meat by the lb. And separate the mixed, cheek n lengua. Or have 1 or 2 people weighing as the orders are taken. The corn tortillas are very thick. They should have 3 to 4 people waiting on the customers. The flow of people would be so much faster. Lines are ridiculous outside. All this is just a suggestion. It's worth the drive there--but-- the service could use a little organing

This place has the best tamales and baracoa ever! I have been going here for many many years. I started eating here when I was a young girl. My grandmother use to work here before she had passed. This place will be the ultimate place to pick up tamales and baracoa. Every time I visit, this is a must stop! The meat is so tender and delicious. I buy it by the pounds!
