imagine our surprise when we went for an early dinner and had to pay $1.99 for a bowl of chips! the waiter brought 2 bowls to our table when we arrived. if we'd known you had to pay for them we probably wouldn't have gotten any. I'm sure the Barrios can afford corn tortillas for making chips without charging $1.99 for a small bowl of them. highly disappointed. corn tortillas are cheap
This is a review mostly of customer service than food or atmosphere. Customer service comes from the heart more than the paycheck. Without going into a diatribe of what customer service is, it is about caring for other people. How can that be taught. It is rare that restaurants actually teach customer service skills. If they are taught, it takes service personnel to care enough about the customers to make it stick. Example, why not just bring salsa when the bowl is empty or not...
Flameado and Tradicinal plate were great. Added a Puffy taco. only complaint was please don't serve the puffy taco on top of the beans!!!!
Prices are a little high but the atmosphere makes up for that.
