Yeah it's in a ruff neighborhood but that's where the best food is and since I'm hood that doesn't bother me, if u want a damm good tamala/barbacoa this is your place the tamales has great flavor and the all meat barbacoa was great not alot grease either just perfect 👌🏾the staff/owner were very nice and friendly the greet as u enter was a good feeling thank you...our family will be back most definitely.
I went to this place after not going for about 25 yrs, right after they moved into this building. So any way hijo de su Chingarrones! Those prices Gawdang, very expensive!! The close neighboring folks may not afford to go there, anyway, so 1 dozen tamales, 1 lbs all meat, 1 pkg flour torts, 1 4 oz cup of sissy green salsa and 1 pk corn 10 torts, grand total 39. 50. Good grub, but I'll stay on the Southside to never return.
My coworker actually told me about this place and we came here after our nightshift. I was surprised this place opens at 530am... So early! But you have to come early or they'll sell out. There were already other people coming in as well.
