Great selection of Mexican pan de dulce and American favorites. Prices are very affordable. A longtime gem of San Antonio, now right across the plaza from the local shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe, where Pope St. John Paul II and Mexican president Carlos Salinas de Gortari spoke.

A classic neighborhood panederia. They have all the Mexican pan dulce favorites. My eldery father and mother in law are particular about their sweet bread. Maybe it's the oil they use or the type of sugar, but whatever it is, my family can tell the difference. There are several bakeries on the Westside but this our favorite one. The location may be new but the recipes are the same. We've been patrons for decades.

The food is good and all, but i literally had to pay 1.50 for a donut that was less than the size of my hand. I had grabbed 2 but didn't get to see them til I got home. If you want to get an actual donut size and don't want to overpay, I suggest not coming here.

Just left the bakery. Usually bought a variety bagful of the sweet bread. Today, went back to visit after a month or so of overcoming problems.
Started by ordering 2 empanadas, a camote and a pina. $1.50. Each. Well heck. Then I asked for an apple turnover. $2.50. For 0ne. I thought that was a ridiculous price. Thought I had wandered into the twilight Stone Oaks zone. Well, good luck Pablo. Your product will be missed, egg prices are up, and so are the meat and vegetables we really need.

I always see this place while working. I came in to get donuts from work and did not disappoint. Very soft and flavorful. Tried glaze, sugar, plain chocolate, and chocolate with sprinkles. Will come back again.

Great place to go I love their empanadas and their donuts are so delicious and fresh and it’s close to my house and the service is great. Haven’t tried the Barbacoa but I will someday and I Order tacos and they were kinda cold, but it was close to closing time so that’s part was on me! But I loved it

The place was clean and service was good. There is hot coffee, fresh breads and treats, and a place to sit and enjoy.

This pasteleria has such a vast selection of every Mexican pastry you can imagine. The prices are excellent and the service was fast and friendly. This place just screams San Antonio and makes me sad we don't have more like it in Austin!

Pan de Dulce is always fresh. Whether the weather is hot or cold, reposteria here is the best.

My husband and I were visiting the area and decided to stop by this panadería after dining at Linda’s Mexican Restaurant nearby. We were impressed by the huge variety of pastries — so many familiar treats that I grew up with in Mexico. The prices were very reasonable, and we walked out with plenty of goodies without spending too much. The place was also spotless, which was great to see.

I noticed a negative review mentioning that pastries are placed in paper bags — but that’s completely normal at any real panadería. They also offer boxes if you ask, which we did since we had cakes and delicate pastries for our long trip home. The staff was kind and accommodating with no issues at all.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. They accept both cards and cash!
