Order to grilled fish rice and green beans came out excellent. As I ordered to the drive-thru the directed me to park in the parking lot. Laguna Madre needs a better way on finding your vehicle because the young girl couldn't find my car. I was parked right in front. I had to get out of my car to ask for my order.

This is a casual place to get an above-average meal including seafood.

Went through the drive-thru, ordered 2 shrimp tacos. Was already waiting 20 minutes before I pulled up to the window. She said I needed to find a parking spot and wait because the people behind me had their food ready and it was getting cold, so she didn't want them to wait any longer. She claimed they hadn't even started making my tacos. 10 minutes later my 2 tacos came out (so waited 30 minutes total for 2 tacos) and they were still cold. It was like they had been made, and just sat there until someone got around to putting the tacos together. This was the first time I tried this place, definitely not going back again.

I order once a week from door dash. The food is delicious! My husband loves the catfish. I love the grill shrimp and toast bread... 🤤 yummy!

I'm almost embarrassed to say that I've lived in San Antonio for 20 years and this was my first here.
Laguna Madre has an open dining room that seats four people per table. You could easily move them around for bigger parties if needed.
The first thing I noticed was the good country music playing in the background...really nice touch.
The food is good considering you're three hours from the coast. Will you smell the ocean breeze and get wifts of salty air here...no. However, if you're looking for reasonable priced seafood plate or a burger it's definitely worth a shot.
The Cole slaw was amazing, the Mac is okay, but I'm looking forward to coming back to try something else.

I used to really enjoy coming to Laguna Madre, but the quality of service has seriously gone downhill this year. On multiple visits, my order has been incomplete, and I’ve had to repeatedly go back and ask for the rest of my food. That’s basic service that shouldn’t be an issue.

On top of that, the staff has been unwelcoming and inattentive, which makes the whole experience frustrating. It feels like there’s been a clear drop in standards compared to how this place used to operate.

I can’t recommend coming here right now unless you’re prepared to double-check your order and deal with poor customer service from management and employees. I hope corporate addresses these issues soon.

Healthy portions for the price! Food was fresh and hot, hot, hot! Tables were clean, staff was great, walking around cleaning tables. Food came out quick, didn't have to wait long. Cod was thick, hushpuppies were yummy. Everything was delicious!! Great fish sandwich as well.
