I was really happy to visit Laguna Madre. They served delicious fried cod that I enjoyed very much. Everything was warm, fresh, and tasty. The menu has a nice variety of fried and grilled dishes. I'm excited to return soon! I just wish they had more locations around town so everyone could enjoy it.
I usually just drive through so I don't catch the atmosphere inside. Pat, the outside is clean and well kept and the building is very nicely built and maintained and usually next to a Bill. Miller's so I can get my barbecue also.
Ordered the fish sandwich, LMS does a great job. It's delicious!
Only gripe is they charge you an additional $2.50 if you ask them to place the rice on the side of the gumbo, which I also ordered. I feel this was a bit excessive.
