Customer service is amazing, but unfortunately the food is bad. I always try to give places the benefit of the doubt, so I tried it twice and still it was awful. I ended up throwing the tortilla away because there was a lot of oil and it was soggy.

Beef enchilada plate. Beef was not seasoned and enchiladas had potatoes with the beef. Brisket queso was very watery and quite a few fat pieces and not hot. Tortillas were good. The girl who took my order was great and helpful and the food came out very hot, except for the queso. First and last time eating las palapas.

Waited 20 mins to order. Finally we paid for our Margarita and Pepsi and left. Waiter apologized, but it felt forced and disingenuous.

Looked at there reviews and was excited to try. Got all the way there to find out they locked the doors 30 mins to close very disappointed. The hours are not accurate.
Prices went up ! $9+ for 4 breakfast tacos is robbery !

My initial thought was , love the atmosphere. Dim lit which gave it a cozy feeling . I have not been to a Las Palapas in decades since it moved out of my area of availability . The restaurant is a franchise now and compared to the original food it does lean more on the chain food side however Brenda our server was impeccable her demeanor and timing were perfect and i havent had service like that in a long time. I do recommend coming to this location because the food is good but not like the early days .

The food was not good. Asked for fresh onions for my enchiladas, and she brought me old onions. When I would ask for something she would get annoyed. I wish I would have gotten her name. Will not be going back.

Service sucks. Closed but… not closed? Pulled up at 11pm to a line of cars and got an automated “closed message” on the PA that was cut short by an apathetic host. Google says “closed at 2am” not 11pm. Want an order of chips and salsa…? No can do apparently. Nobody can figure out cup size for salsa like 10-12oz isn’t plenty or that chips can’t go in a paper bag. Completely out of potatoes for a crappy taco on a Friday night…? 2,4,6,8,10,12,16oz. Doesn’t matter the cup size, nobody knows which size the margarita or salsa goes in. It’s up to you to guess. If you don’t guess right, you’re getting an argument instead of getting decent food.
