I stopped by after doing my laundry next door and was very impressed. I think I got their baklava. Very tasty! I hope to stop by again and try one of their more savory food items ?. Also the girl who helped me was very nice
This Iraqi bakery is a definitely a hidden treasure. My friend had bought some spinach cheese pies from there for one of our get togethers and she didn't know the name of the place. So, I went on a quest to find it just with the knowledge of the cross streets. I found it!The bakery sells hot and packaged items. They have a freezer with goodies too. This place is the real deal! San Antonio y'all very lucky to have a bakery that make's authentic Iraqi Samoon bread. If you haven't had Samoon y'all missing out. It's by far the best sandwich bread ever! This place is small, extremely clean, and the folks here are very friendly. Their meat, cheese, spinach pies and breads are outstanding! I can't say enough good things about this place, y'all just need to get over here!
