Lick Honest Ice Creams is an easy five stars from me. The flavors are creative without being gimmicky, the texture is super creamy, and you can really taste the quality ingredients. Staff are friendly, happy to offer samples, and the shop has a relaxed, neighborhood feel. Prices are a bit higher than a standard scoop shop, but the quality and experience make it absolutely worth it.
Our first time at Lick in San Antonio (been to Austin several times!) and of course everything was fabulous! Our favorite ice cream and everything is delicious but we really love the ice cream sandwiches and pup cups!
The person working the counter was friendly and kind! The flavors were unique and in some cases odd. The Texas sheet cake was delicious, but some of the other flavors were underwhelming. The location is convenient, but I probably wouldn't return.
