The food was good but very pricey!!! The salsas were great. Portions were good. Coffee tasted good, they kept my cup full.

I typically don’t complain or post online but I honestly felt annoyed at how I was treated. I have been here before various times and usually for dine in which is different staff and they are always kind. This is the second time I order To go. I called my order in ahead of time and before I got off the phone I asked how long for my order to be ready they said 15 minutes. Called my order in at 11:22 got to the restaurant at 11:30 (I was rushing because I had to be at work at 12 pm but since they told me the wait time was 15 minutes so that’s why I went ahead and ordered)
I waited another 10 minutes and at 11:40 I went and asked if my order was ready or no. And the lady that I asked I think her name was Elizabeth said “they just started on your order, another 10-15 minutes” I said I can’t wait that long I need to be at work by then. And she’s like well there’s orders ahead of you to which I responded I understand but when I called the order in they said 15 minutes if they had said anything longer than that I would’ve said never mind I’ll go elsewhere. She then just walks away. She finally brings my order out at 11:55 and I said can I please check it and she shoves it towards me. I start checking and two of the tacos were wrong to which I let her know and she proceeds to check the receipt goes back to the kitchen comes back to me and shoves them In front of me and walks away… no sorry about the delay nothing!
I’m disappointed and this should not come off to anyone as if I’m expecting too much because no, this is a restaurant they are there to SERVE people. So the service I received today was one to turn me away and not come back. I’m sure their business won’t slow down as they are a very popular location but just posting my review (:

I wish I could give a lower rating I went to the food truck off of commercial and I ordered menudo, when I got home and opened the menudo I saw how greasy it was, you could see the shine of grease on the top layer of the soup in the photo. I then pulled out some pieces of pansa to inspect and come to find they did not even clean the tripe of the fat or bother to skim the fat from the top of the soup… over all the menudo was inedible. I wish I could have gotten my money back. I would say the tamales are tortillas are ok but over all I would not recommend especially after this terrible experience with the menudo.

Every time we visit San Antonio we make sure to stop by and take several packs of their flour tortillas. They are always fresh and fluffy!

We wanted some good old Mexican breakfast eggs and guisado and we got it. I ordered the large Menudo and being very honest the meat was kind of scarce. I usually like my menudo to be full of meat and this one wasn't it. I also ordered a chicharron taco and that was way better. Others in my party ordered egg with Chorizo and huevos rancheros and they looked good. About the service I can tell you it was really really good. Our waitress was so nice, patient and on top of everything. I will definitely be back for more of this great restaurant when in San Anto.

Big mistake! I ordered 4 lengua tacos thinking they would be like all others I’ve eaten. OH NO! this isn’t little chopped up meat, it was HUGE chunks of meat. Enough meat to make 3 tacos with per taco. I was so impressed. Definitely recommended!
