Came in from Sugarland for the 4th and we got to meet the family. We talked about the history of the kitchen and the New Orleans roots that make everything so authentic. Good people and good food.
What a blessing to have the opportunity to eat at Ma Harper's.
This is not fast food...it is made to order and worth the wait. We shared the gumbo, boudain with red beans and rice, and shrimp po' boy.
If you are in San Antonio when they are open, you must go!

By far the best experience ever. They were so personable and hospitable. The food speaks for itself! They sold everything out prior to closing! This i is my favorite Creole spot. Now, if you want a treat ask to meet Ma Harper! You won't forget the experience!
