I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Mcmurphys and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm Irish hospitality and a lively atmosphere. The pub had a charming and authentic ambiance, with traditional Irish decorations and memorabilia adorning the walls. The cozy seating areas and dim lighting added to the inviting feel of the place, making it the perfect spot for a meal or a few drinks with friends. Now, onto the main highlight – the food. The menu was a delightful collection of classic Irish dishes, as well as some pub favorites with an Irish twist. I couldn't resist trying the Irish Pasties It was a hearty portion of meat, mixed with vegetables,Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the combination of the savory meat and veggies was simply mouthwatering. To accompany my meal, I opted for a pint of Guinness, the iconic Irish stout. It was poured to perfection, with a creamy head that made each sip smooth and enjoyable. The pub also had an extensive selection of Irish whiskeys, which was a delight for any whiskey enthusiast. The service throughout the evening was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations and answering any questions I had.Overall, my experience at this mcmurphys pub was fantastic. The delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service made it a memorable dining experience. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Ireland combined with the warm hospitality of an Irish pub, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Personal favorite of my fiancé and I, this was one of our first dates. Great service, lighting, energy, service AND they show UFC fights with exclusive vip seating. Drop in and stay a while.
Irish Pub. Guinness, Bangers and Mash, Ruben sandwiches. Sassy and wild bartenders. Essentially everything I look for in a tourist trap. Caution, I may have had a couple of pints too many and taken a lyft. Service was spot on. Food was good. Would recommend.
Maddy McMurphy’s is an excellent place to watch your favorite sports event or just have a quick bite. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly and the snacks are top notch. Overall a fun place and one we stop at whenever in San Antonio.

This was the perfect place to watch USA soccer! Fun time with friends, good drinks and great food. Our server Maggie was exceptional! She was friendly, helpful and efficient. If you go, ask to be seated in her section.
They advertise outside on a portable sign $3 green margaritas all day (it's just green dye) and then pizza and a pint for 10 bucks. I order that and I wanted to get a pint of Guinness but they don't have it on draft. Like what the hell kind of Irish pub doesn't have Guinness on draft? And of course the green margarita machine is down it's a frozen margarita (or should I say it's not a frozen margarita because it doesn't exist today). So once again an epic fail for another business and an Irish pub doesn't have Iris stuff (obviously the margarita isn't exactly Irish other than the green part I guess but still). Whoever the bar manager is should be fired. Where is John Taffer when you need him?I think I'm not going to tip this place, her pleasure out of telling me that they don't have anything I hope was worth the several two or three buck tip. I imagine it adds up when you're a real $$&(+*:;.
Decent Irish pub in San Antonio, walking distance from the Hyatt Regency.Pasties were excellent - chicken sandwich too.Irish whiskey selection not bad.
Cute little bar/restaurant just off the Riverwalk. Friendly service. Their Maddy's martini was delicious. Food was ok.
BEST SPECIALS !!!This place is absolutely amazing! I love their $10 Pint & Pizza special or the $30 2 pizza & pitcher special. The beer was absolutely cold and delicious. The pizza was to die for! Made fresh. ❤️The environment was older/mature crowd that knew how to pump things up! They had the games on the biggest screen as you walked in. Restrooms were very clean.
Native Texan here. Moved to Ohio after joining the military and just visiting grandparents. The wings and Bulldog Bock is definitely a combo to get if needing a quick bite.10 wings.. Two flavors: garlic parm and buffalo… and I’d get again and again and again. They weren’t too small, lightly crunchy (so you don’t have soggy wings) and mild in flavor. The Alamo Bulldog Bock is by-far the best bock I’ve had, and I wish it sold and distributed in other states. However, the story is they brew it solely for the pub. So, grab a glass if you have the chance! It’s one of a kind.

We came here right when they opened on St. Patrick’s Day. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. We ordered some green beer and 2 appetizers. The waitress brought out our drinks and we waited awhile for our appetizers (pretzel and nachos). After about 15 minutes she came by and asked if we wanted anything to eat, we reminded her of our appetizers and I guess she forgot about them because she ran back to the kitchen. It took about another 15 minutes to get our food out. It was very tasty and the drinks were very good as well. Not sure if our waitress was just having a bad day, but the service could have been a bit better.
Nachos were ok pastys ok mashed potatoes meh I like traditional colcannan which they don't have. Also had pizza. Next time getting the pretzel
Big screen is great but you really can't see picture because of glare. The whole place is too loud. My first visit there was terrible. The wait staff just stood around. Had to ask someone to help me with my order. The second was just as bad. So I won't waste my money there.
No service. I said I wanted something to eat, and she sat at the end of the bar, not helping anyone. I waited 15 minutes and left. I will not be back. Too bad, it looks like it has some potential..
The pretzel was hot and delicious! Had some drinks and watched Michigan lose the game. Great place and nice people!
