Maria's was the 5th spot we tried on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. The bacon, egg, potato and cheese was really good especially with that hot sauce and its spicy kick. The bean and cheese, while also good wasn't as flavorful as beans I've had elsewhere. The carne guisada and cheese was the best taco for sure. It's a bit of nitpicking, but the meat wasn't quite as tender as compared to other spots and the tortillas overall were on the chewy...
Food was great, we had the barbacoa taco, menudo, cheese enchiladas and a couple other tacos, all was great!!! The owner talked to us and made us feel like we were family...WILL BE BACK!!!!!
Had never heard of this place. Wanted to try something new in the area and hit a gold mine. Great people , great service and im born and raised in San Antonio. Been eating tacos all around San Antonio, I can honestly say these are the best tacos I've had. Will definitely be coming back!
