First time at this place and it was amazing. I took my parents for dinner and I wanted to take them somewhere nice and this was the place ! The staff are very polite and kind. They had great knowledge of the menu and all the ingredients that made in their food. All the food we tried was superb. All the flavors paired together. The drinks were also very good. I can see someone put their heart and soul in this restaurant. They did a really good job.
We were excited to try Max's Sister after seeing it had been listed as San Antonio's top restaurant. We made reservations and was seated as we arrived. The service is very attentive and come actually be called too attentive as we were served and contacted by at least 5 employees in the 1st 10 mins of sitting. My wife and I tried this restaurant on our anniversary a few weeks ago, and once the night was over I told her I wanted to come back for my birthday.
Both experiences were identical in quality and I cannot recommend Max’s Sister highly enough.

Max's Sister is a great place to eat. The food is very good or excellent. The fish dishes are the best in San Antonio. The salads are big, so it's a good idea to share them. They have a happy hour from 4:30 to 6:00.
