Worse bbq we’ve had at a place of business. This is no where near Texas BBQ! Ribs were old and just bad. Living in Texas and owning a bbq restaurant, you’d think how the quality stands up to others. Brisket is terrible too. Dirty smoke flavor, overcooked, and tasted like roast beef. Much better choice out there for your hard earned money.

Really Good BBQ

The place was a little hole in the wall. The service was great & appreciated. The brisket was so juicy and tender! Definitely a place you should check out to support small businesses! We sat on the patio to enjoy our food! We are a family of 5, all got a meal with a side, drinks, desserts and came out to $80.

Everything we tried was really good and juicy. The meats were seasoned really well, so the BBQ sauce wasn't really needed.

21 Mar 2026-- 1102 N Walnut Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130 --- 2nd time coming here because first time was outstanding - just ordered take out...first, forgot items in our order, had to go back in.. AND Secondly, Very disappointing, two meat plate had one slice of brisket and I also got sausage. Not only my meal, but multiple family members ordered brisket and we all only got one slice.. or one slice of turkey.. Mac n Cheese tasted tangy, like spoiled milk, and all that ordered it said it was no good.. who would be ok with this? Over $$$$ for 4 people.. try to help smaller businesses but this puts a stop to this one..hopefully some reads this and fixes this - probably will not return.

Love their bbq. Always fresh, you wait a few minutes for them to slice and build your sandwich, nice folks. Kind of mashed you think your aunt decided to sell her fabulous bbq. Go whenever in the new braunfels area.

Irma and Jaxon had great friendly customer service!
Stopped in to try the smoked meatloaf special (Thursday) and boy am I glad I did!!
The meatloaf had great smokey flavor and perfectly seasoned!
The mashed potatoes are so creamy and garlicky! I personally wish they were more chunky but still love them!

I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!!!

We are new in town and wanted to try this place. Well don't recommend brisket was mushy we asked for lean not what we got, chicken was DRY. Mac and cheese had zero flavor. Potato salad was more like mashed potatoes with mustard no seasoning. Well we ended up getting sick 🤢 😞Sausage was good 🥹

Very disappointed. The mac and cheese was so bland and it was mixed with shells and macaroni, almosg like yhe comboned some craft boxes together. The brisket was just pure fat. Not a single bit of meat on it. The ribs were so hard and chewy that you couldn't eat it or pull off the meat. Worst bbq ever.

It might look like a hole in the wall but they are by far the best bbq in town. Super friendly and accommodating staff. DEFINITELY A MUST IN NEW BRAUNFELS! And they also have a food truck across the street from Walnut and Business 35! Everything is amazing but so far my favorite is the garlic sausage. I will try everything one day I order something new every time and am never disappointed!

We tried this place on New Year's day. It was early afternoon. Ordered the Mighty Mike - 2 meat 3 sides. Got Brisket, sausage, Mac n cheese, corn and cole slaw, with bread. The bread had very visible mold on it. The Mac n cheese had a sour taste and was cold. The corn and Cole slaw had absolutely no taste. The brisket was so mushy. The more you chewed it the worse it got. The sauce had a rancid taste... no, it wasn't a vinegar taste. I called the place and shared my concern with the bread and the Mac n cheese. The person apologized and seemed to be in a hurry to get off the phone. I didn't even tell them about the rest of the food because he was basically hanging up before I was finished. This makes me sad as I see such good reviews and really wanted to have a new place to eat.
