The food was great! A small shack that fits the areas vibe. Came here and the employees were great, food was terrific, and definitely coming back. Great place to stop by after schlitterbahn or enjoying the river. 100% better than Big Bib BBQ down the street.

First and last time here. The Friday special was pork belly burnt ends. What I got was slimey chunks of under cooked, almost raw, pork fat cubes swimming in bbq sauce that was cold and gross. The potato salad was reminiscent of HEB day old deli marked down for close out variety. The green beans were average. The sausage link was mushy and cold in the middle. The only thing enjoyable was the slice of store bought bread. $20 straight in the toilet because that's where I spent the next 30 minutes
EDIT.... IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE, I WAS NOT WITH A LADY FRIEND. I WAS ALONE AND I DAMN SURE DID NOT EAT IT ALL. I THREW IT IN THE TRASH CAN NEXT TO THE EXIT RAMP. THE MANAGER WAS NOT THERE. THE OWNER WAS NOT THERE. IT WAS SOME DUMB GUY THAT COULDN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT CHANGE ON A FIFTY DOLLAR BILL. WRONG CUSTOMER

3 trips in a week. 1st the ribs blew me away...the best I've ever had being meaty and moist. 2nd was the daily special having smoked meatloaf. Enough for dinner and a meatloaf sandwich the next day but the real gem was the smoked garlic mashed potatoes. 3rd was a disappointment getting a whole rack of the ribs. They were dry and tough. The sausage links were the part of the meal that provided satisfaction. I will try again but want the ribs only if freshly cooked same'day.

I have been eating Mighty Oak BBQ for over 5 years, back when they had a truck set up at Black Clover. The food quality is STILL the exact same. IMPECCABLE. This is the only BBQ I crave and will eat as it is as close to my grandpa's that I can find. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The staff is ALWAYS friendly from the owners all the way to the waitresses that run in circles with smiles on their faces. I feel like I'm on my back patio having BBQ with family, and it has been that way since the first time I tried them. And if you don't try the banana pudding, you're robbing yourself and should pay a penalty! Crystal you are an amazing soul and you light up every room you enter!

Had a little time to myself and stopped in to try something new. The brisket sandwich was delicious! They make their own coleslaw, tangy and yummy. I like to add my coleslaw to the sandwich. Great price. Next time I have to try the banana pudding.

The meats were good. Pulled pork and brisket were tasty. The chicken was fairly dry and I did not receive everything I ordered. Missed the banana pudding. Didn't notice until I got home. I also am rating a 3 based on other bbq I've had in the area. It's good, but not great.

Wife & I were wondering what to eat today. We thought of BBQ but we also remembered how expensive it can be! She told me of a BBQ place that we haven't heard of but driven by many times. So okay, let's go.

Mighty Oak is small so you may pass it once, but quickly turn around and pull up to the place for some good food. The staff, including Crystal and Thumper (owner), are great. They took care of us like family.

We first tried their Friday Special of pork belly with two sides and a drink. Both of us got the garlic mashed potatoes for a side, I got the coleslaw, she got the Mac n Cheese for our second side.

Usually one of us would get jealous because they got the better side, but not this time.... ALL 3 SIDES WERE YUM! 🤤

I couldn't help but get a second order.... Round 2! I got the pork belly again but with mashed potatoes and BBQ baked beans. I started getting tears in my eyes.

She got the Brown Bag Special, it was the pulled pork sandwich (with enough meat for two sandwiches!), BBQ baked beans, drink and a banana pudding.

The banana pudding finishes fast, EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE!

The food is is great for the price. 10/10 definitely coming again!

That was delicious. I got the lunch special for $7.99 that comes with a chicken leg quarter and two sides. They even put in a rice Krispi treat. The meat was very tender, and the sides were Mac n cheese and cole slaw. Staff was very nice. I didn’t stay to eat there, but there are several tables on the deck and TVs. I’ll back to try their pork.
