The food was great! A small shack that fits the areas vibe. Came here and the employees were great, food was terrific, and definitely coming back. Great place to stop by after schlitterbahn or enjoying the river. 100% better than Big Bib BBQ down the street.

3 trips in a week. 1st the ribs blew me away...the best I've ever had being meaty and moist. 2nd was the daily special having smoked meatloaf. Enough for dinner and a meatloaf sandwich the next day but the real gem was the smoked garlic mashed potatoes. 3rd was a disappointment getting a whole rack of the ribs. They were dry and tough. The sausage links were the part of the meal that provided satisfaction. I will try again but want the ribs only if freshly cooked same'day.

I have been eating Mighty Oak BBQ for over 5 years, back when they had a truck set up at Black Clover. The food quality is STILL the exact same. IMPECCABLE. This is the only BBQ I crave and will eat as it is as close to my grandpa's that I can find. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The staff is ALWAYS friendly from the owners all the way to the waitresses that run in circles with smiles on their faces. I feel like I'm on my back patio having BBQ with family,...
